Anyone else had problems doing this? My son tried on Thursday pm for London - Glasgow using 2 cards without success and I tried on Sunday and last night for Luton - St Pancras using 3 different cards and all said card rejected. Easyjet and airport parking happy to accept the cards - what's going on?

Beware booking restricted outward and return journey times. Some companies will not give you any credit should you wish to change and you will have to buy a full ticket.

If you are uncertain about travel times keep tickets open.

National Express are often good value for train tickets - sure it's not your bank (or an extra level of authorisation via your bank which you're getting wrong?)

These were open tickets and the banks were: Santander/Abbey, RBS and Clydesdale.

Bus and rail ticket bookings are rife with cloned/stolen cards being used... happened to me. It may be a block your bank has on it. Give them a call.
