Guys,
I am sure that Steve will not mind me using pictures of his new R500.
Low Headlights
But Steve tells me that the new low Headlight position came as standard on his new car.
They look like they are mounted directly to the body almost, without any bar mount.
Me Likey a Lot!!

Seems to be standard on all new cars. Mount is a single bar welded directly to top wishbone mount.

The mount was developed for EU 4 cars. It is fitted using the wishbone bolt. |

Guys,
Thanks, would be nice to know that things like this have been changed on a release note from Caterham though.
I have suggested a Wiki for such updates in the past, but seems to fall on deaf ears!!

Thanks for linking to your build pictures The new mounts look like they will obviate the 'wobbly' hedlight syndrome of the metric chassis fixing method of just one set screw to hold the tube on.

Weird - I don't like them... I must be too old I guess? Somehow makes the car look a replica rather than th real thing...

Yup same here, fitted a straight bar on mine when it was rebuilt in 2008, it looks a lot neater.
